“Every piece has a story to tell. Our homes are meant to be personal and sentimental spaces. We want to fill them with pieces that have meaning to us and make our properties feel like a sanctuary from the outside world. I don’t think you can just go and look for an heirloom, this is usually handed down or the project built around it. Having said that, you would need to consider the space or the room in which you are placing it. It needs to be somewhere where it can be seen as a thing of beauty. It will create a focal point of interest, something to discuss with guests and a piece that holds memories.”
