CHARLOTTE MUNN - ASSOCIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER
“My career began in buying for a luxury interiors homeware brand, involving market analysis of trends, aesthetics, and global sourcing. This experience sparked a passion for interior design, leading to roles in prime residential projects in London and around the world for some amazing prime residential developers and private clients. Seeking to broaden my expertise and knowledge of different design aesthetics and cultural nuances, I embarked on a rewarding professional journey, moving to the Middle East, working for a Royal Family's in-house interior design team.
Returning to London briefly, I continued working on super luxury residential projects before returning to the Middle East, where I recently joined the Accouter team in Dubai, working on various projects in and around the region with a vast spectrum of dynamic and inspiring clients.
Currently I am working on some very exciting projects. Notably I am working on a great apartment concept, based here in Dubai, with beautiful views of the Marina and the Palm. The concept scheme, is influenced by the surrounding sea views, it employs a sophisticated palette of neutral, desert and coastal hues alongside refined textures and elegant furniture accents, creating a harmonious retreat.
In addition to the incredible projects I am working on in Dubai, I also have the honour of working on a conceptual project for a magnificent Grade I listed property on the East side of Manhattan, in New York. The interior scheme for this traditional, timeless New York property, showcases a rich blend of classical architectural elements, luxurious fabrics, and antique furnishings, paying homage to the city's historic charm while exuding an air of sophistication and elegance.
Accouter’s portfolio of diverse interior projects with their discerning, global clientele is what attracted me to the company, showcasing its versatility and adaptability, demonstrating its ability to cater to a wide range of client preferences and design styles – which is always great fun for a designer and cannot wait to get stuck in further.”
