In 2022, we announced the exciting news that our studio expanded globally, with one of the incredible locations including New York. Our leading Associate Director, Karis Samuelson, has been embracing the opportunities in and around our East Coast office, based on Crosby Street. Located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, Crosby Street has an array of show rooms, hotels and artisans which keep our American design dreams alight.

Named after William Bedloe Crosby, a 19th century philanthropist and millionaire, Crosby Street is a key part of Soho’s artistic and industrial culture. Although on the smaller scale in size, the array of show homes and artisans who are located both in and around here make Crosby Street a wonderful location for our Accouter New York office.
LANSERRING
Lanserring are known for creating high end luxury, custom-made Kitchens, with their bespoke items exclusively constructed in an Austrian castle. Truly the ‘Rolls Royce’ of their industry, Crosby Street hosts their very own showroom space, with kitchen designs which will leave you completely mesmerised. The craftsmanship which is used to create the works of art can be seen within each and every detail of the items and the schemes as a whole...
CROSBY STREET HOTEL
One of the most well-known hotels located close-by to our New York office is the Crosby Street Hotel by Firmdale. An iconic Five Star location, with a fresh and contemporary design, this hotel is situated on the very cobbled streets of Crosby Street. Hosting 11 floors with 86 rooms and suites, this luxury haven is suitable for any New York residents or travellers, wanting to get a taste for an exquisite city stay in the hustle and bustle of the Soho area. The breathtakingly unique and vibrant interior schemes within the hotel are what makes this hotel so well renowned, allowing you to connect to the blend of the artistic and sophisticated realms of the captivating city.
FUEGUIA 1833 PERFUME SHOP
Fueguia 1833 is a high-end, luxury boutique perfume shop on Crosby Street, with their own extensive collection of bespoke scents.
Founded in 2010 in Buenos Aires by Julian Bedel, Fueguia 1833 ‘is a unique concept in the universe of niche perfumery, synonymous with craftsmanship, innovation, exotism and sustainability.’
The historically rich story behind this brand is extremely interesting. Fueguia 1833 is a tribute to the ‘indigenous communities of South America’, who are recognised as protectors of the medicinal and aromatic plants which surround their landscapes. Fueguia 1833 is an ode to their preservation.
Inspired by the boundless virgin territory of South America, an inexhaustible source of stimuli, the brand was created as an homage to the local communities, as well as the history, art and music celebrated within this corner of the world. The story-telling shared throughout the collection of fragrances is what makes this such an intriguing and inviting place. Fueguia 1833 makes a wonderful shop to visit, as you can easily lose yourself for a while whilst exploring of the vast array of whimsical scents on offer.
L'AVIVA HOME
The last location which has caught our eye surrounding Crosby Street is L’Aviva Home- a lighting and product design studio who pride themselves on creating relationships with top artisans, with their ultimate goal being to reimagine traditional trends through contemporary design.
The creations of L’Aviva Home are incredibly modern and fascinating, with their lighting designs being our top area of the business. Take a look at the PIEDRA collection for example- exquisite design which would be a vision in many modernised luxury homes or apartments.
Overall, each of these opulent locations surrounding Accouter’s New York office are certainly intriguing for our New York team, with endless inspiration living right upon our doorstep.
