WELCOME TO THE CROWN ESTATE: OUR RECENT ENDEAVOUR IN THE HEART OF THE SURREY COUNTRYSIDE
The Accouter team are delighted to unveil the Crown Estate Family Home, our latest private client project nestled in the serene countryside of Surrey. This magnificent mansion, designed with the utmost care for the family's comfort and style, embodies the pinnacle of luxury living, reflecting our dedication to creating a unique, sophisticated home that perfectly suits their desires. Created with a team of collaborators, including Morgan Rae as the Contractors and Lees Associates for the Architecture and Project Management, this project is proof of what can be achieved when like-minded teams within the luxury property industry, with a rich history of expertise, come together.
THE TRANSFORMATION of the crown estate family home
This prestigious residence has undertaken a remarkable transformation, resulting in a luxurious haven that perfectly balances comfort, style, and functionality.
The project involved an extensive refurbishment and extension of an existing 14,500 square foot home. In addition, a new 6,000 square foot basement has been constructed beneath the rear garden, housing a 25-metre swimming pool and a state-of-the-art bowling alley. Five extensions at the first-floor level were added to enhance the overall grandeur and usability of the space.
The meticulous refurbishment included the installation of modern comfort cooling systems, advanced plumbing, underfloor heating, and cutting-edge AV controls. The interiors have been beautifully enhanced with substantial new joinery and exquisite finishes throughout. The new basement was ingeniously constructed using over 200 contiguous piles and a top-down methodology, allowing concurrent progress on the above-ground works.

The structural integration of the new basement with the existing one has created an unparalleled leisure suite, featuring a 25-metre swimming pool, a bowling alley, a games room, and a cinema. This project, which spanned 25 months, is a testament to the synergy and dedication of our collaborative team.

We've achieved a seamless flow throughout the home with a neutral palette, while allowing each room to express its own unique character.
